In Thailand we worked our way through the cocktails list and the Thai Mojito has to be my favourite. Since we got home we’ve tried to perfect it ourselves, so here’s a little guide on how to make the perfect Thai Mojito…
- 1 lime, roughly chopped
- 5 large fresh mint leaves
- 1 tbs brown sugar
- 40-60ml white rum
- Ice cubes
- Chilled soda water
Place the lime, mint, and sugar into a cocktail shaker. Crush the lime and leaves until the sugar has almost dissolved.
Add the rum and ice cubes. Cover and shake well. Pour the mixture into a tall glass and top up with soda water. Add a slice of lime to the glass for decoration 🙂
