Sand in my shoes

On March 20, 2013 by Lau

So after two weeks in a place that I can only describe as paradise, our honeymoon in Koh Samui is over. We’ve had the most amazing time relaxing on the beach and by the pool, drinking Thai Mojito’s, visiting some beautiful islands and being blessed by a monk at Big Buddha.

The last few weeks have been an absolute fairytale, everything about our wedding was perfect – I want to do it all again now! I’ll have loads more posts coming up soon about our wedding (my talented mam made so many things for it, I can’t wait to show them!)

So as we wait for our car to take us to the airport I’ll leave you with some of Dido’s lyrics to sum up the feeling of our honeymoon ending…

Two weeks away feels like the whole world should have changed,
But I’m home now, and things still look the same.
I think I’ll leave it ’til tomorrow to unpack,
Try to forget for one night that I’m back in my flat.
On the road where the cars never stop going through the night,
To a life where I can’t watch the sun set.
